Tim Linthicum

I have been blessed to have the opportunity to play many styles of music through the years. As far as study, I began playing the drums at the age of 8, in Portland, Maine with the Yankee Brigade, Jr. Drum and Bugle Corp. At the age of 10, I studied under Jack E. Rumbley, Lead Percussionist with the Ft. Worth Symphony, (Texas). At the age of 12, I studied in Boise, Idaho, under Alan Laye, (protege of Carmine Appice, (Vanilla Fudge, Rod Stewart), where I began learning proper double bass technique. In my late teens, I began playing professionally and continued throughout my collegiate career. I am a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, where I earned a B.A., Music and studied under Professor Chalon Ragsdale.
