Tobiasz Siankiewicz

Tobiasz Siankiewicz is a Polish saxophonist and flautist based in New York City. After arriving in New York in 2012, Siankiewicz earned a degree in jazz performance from the City College of New York in 2017. During his time at CCNY he had the opportunity to study and/or perform with Steve Wilson, Jon Gordon, Jason Rigby, Mike Holober, Scott Reeves, Daniel Carillo, Dr. Lonnie Smith and Marvin Stamm. In 2018, he recorded his debut album with quintet entitled Time to Begin featuring musicians such as Bruce Harris and Clovis Nicolas.

Born in Poland, Siankiewicz began his formal training at the age of 12. Playing saxophone with school bands, he also worked with singers-songwriters and various reggae bands throughout his teens.

In 2006 Siankiewicz moved to Ireland where he quickly established himself on a music scene. Between 2006 and 2012 he performed extensively as a sideman in premier Irish music venues such as The Sugar Club, Whelan’s, J.J. Smith, Temple Bar Music Center, The Button Factory, The Academy, and The Time.
