Tomer Bar

Pianist/composer Tomer Bar was born in Israel on October 10th 1994. At three years old, he started to play the drums in his father's recording studio. He started playing pop songs at age seven and at eight he started playing the piano. Tomer met Ittai Rosenbaom, (a well known pianist and piano and music teacher), which paved the way towards Jazz music.

Since then, he has been performing and writing music, proving that the soul is deep within us and the human experience is part of all of us even at early age. Tomer is a pianist, a composer and at his age already a hopeless romantic, affected by films and Hebrew poetry.

Tomer, who is largely inspired by Pat Metheny, Bill Evans and Charlie Parker, has already taken part in many musical frameworks and published his debut album "Memories" which gained outstanding critic reviews and made his premiere at the Israel Festival in 2007.

Listening to Tomer Bar is an experience torn between a pleasing mature musical quality and a dumbfounding phenomenon of a child virtuoso, composer and musician.
