Album Description

‘Some people say my music is uncouth and without form. What, may I ask you as a Scotsman, do these same people think about bagpipe music? But it is recognised as the music of a nation, as folk music’. Duke Ellington Uncouth and Without Form is the latest project from composer and musician John Rae that focuses on his Scottish roots and is a fascinating album of Scottish influenced original tunes, sensitively realised to warm any post Covid-19 heart.
