drumsAlbum Description
This music is born from the synthesis and manipulation of various narrative models present in cinematography and those illustrated by modern music. The eight tracks of original music constitute a 60 minute narrative multiverse. The general aesthetic of this musical material being strongly influenced by both modern cinema soundtracks and impressionism, it is through its application in a jazz ensemble that its most unique characteristics are defined. The improvisatory interaction between the instrumentists, with its solidity and sensitivity, realizes very colorful and strongly emotional music that will remind you of the good times you had when reading an intriguing novel. (EXCERPT FROM THE BOOKLET): "If, during your listening of this musical album, you have noticed similarities regarding the melodies, textures and/or forms between the different pieces, please let me know what they are, as it will rejoice me. Indeed, one of my main objectives through the consolidation of these eight musical pieces was to establish and maintain a strong narrative cohesion, similarly to how the opuses of a same saga are stringed together. Whether it was by big splashes or tiny brushstrokes, I purposefully created melodies, harmonies and rhythms similar to one another and scattered them throughout this album."
