Viktorija Pilatovic
Viktorija Pilatovic is a jazz vocalist from Lithuania, since 2017 is part the voice faculty at Berklee College of Music, Valencia, Spain. Recording artist for Greg Osby's Inner Circle Music label, with the first release Nica's Blues in 2013 and Stories 2017. New album The Only Light 2019. Owns Masters in Music from Berklee College of Music, Full Scholarship and Excellency award. For the past years has gained academic teaching experience, including Berklee International Network School, Ecuador, Sedajazz seminars in Spain and Global Music Network, London. Recorded with renown Spanish saxophone player Perico Sambeat in his latest Big Band album Voces. As a student and later a professional has shared the stage with Victor Wooten, Abraham Laboriel, Victor Mendoza, John Clayton, J.D. Walter, Ralph Peterson, Alex Sipiagin, David Berkman, Don Braden, Jeff Cascaro, Joris Teepe, Freddie Bryant, Gene Jackson, Robin Eubanks, Polo Orti and she also took part in Montreux Jazz Festival Shure Vocalist Competition. Her quintet opened for Chris Dave and Drumheadz at Vilnius Mama Jazz Festival 2012 with artists such as Wallace Roney and Ravi Coltrane. Currently active performing in Spain and other countries in Europe.
