I am Beginning my third year as Piccoloist and assistant 1st chair flutist for the Lower Merion Symphony Orchestra in Lower Merion, Pa. I am also the Woodwind sideman for 15 years+ at Zion Baptist Church in Phila., Pa. I have been teaching and instructing young artist in the Camden City Youth Orchestra for 8+ years. I have been commissioned to record and perform as reed sideman and particularly as flutist. Studied classical flute in college with Celeste Earon and the late Dale Shepfer. Earned Bach. of Music degree from Phila. College of Bible 1982 and Bach. of Art in Music Ed. from Chesnut Hill College 2001. I Maintain membership and attend conventions with the National Flute Association, where I met and conversed with Hubert Laws, my most favorite flutist. Currently I teach and have been teaching music with the School District of Phila. Since my beginning as a musician I've listened to and style my performance and recordings to the likes of my musical idol Hubert Laws, by transcriptions of written solos or by listening and writing them myself.


Sonare/Powell +Yamaha flutes both open hole,inline keys with two headjoints each. One Gemeinhardt Alto Flute with straight and curved headjoints. One Artley Bass Flute three piccolos one Wooden Yamaha 62,one Lintone all wood and one ebonite Gemeinhardt (all pro models). One High Spirit Native Amer. Flute in G, and a variety of wood flutes from South Am and Africa. Boss ME50 guitar processor for multiple and experimental effects, including octave and various interval splitting.

Currently maintain classroom music teacher certification in PA. and i am employed as the same in the Phila., School District.
