Vladimir Vysotsky

Vladimir Vysotski (b. 1982) is a pianist, composer, songwriter and producer. He studied classical and jazz piano at Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory and Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Received the Nokia Young Talent Award in 2004. Up-to-day Vysotsky participates in several jazz and experimental band in Estonian Music scene. He has an eclectic music style, getting inspiration from many sources and freely combining different music genres to create a fresh and unique sound.

Vysotsky plays in several jazz, funk and experimental bands in the Estonian music scene. The music of his XPRESS QUARTET incorporates elements of jazz, fusion and pop creating energetic and positive vibe. A project ECLECTIC founded in collaboration with saxophonist Kristjan Mazurtchak features brilliant house-music singer Sofia Rubina, experiments with live-electronica on stage, blending together samples and electronic beats with an acoustic instruments.
